Last.fm Feature Request: “In My Playlists” Section on Track Pages

Dear Last.fm,

Thought I’d take just a moment to write up a feature request that’s been on my mind for about a year now. I am sure it will take some engineering, but I think the work would be a worthy evolution of your already excellent online music service. Please feel free to comment on this page if you have questions or want to announce it’s availability. ;-)

Add “In My Playlists”  Section To Track Pages

On track page, you can see that a song is already in your library and whether you’ve loved it. I think it’d be super-cool if track pages listed the playlists that I’ve already added the track to.

This addition would be useful for the following reasons (and I’m sure there are others):

  • Instantly, I’ll know that I’ve added the track to at least one playlist.
  • I’ll see that I’ve added it to a playlist that it really doesn’t fit into afterall.
  • I won’t have to ask myself if I already add it to such-and-such playlist?

I’d be honored to test out such a feature. :-)

Psst… Add me as a friend on Last.fm if you want to.
